Chance for the squad to get their own back.
A Tesco.com side, managed by our very own goalkeeping coach, Mark Irvine, will take on an Arsenal Charity & Celebrity team on Sunday, 10th August 2014 at the home of Maidstone United which is the Gallagher Stadium, James Whatman Way, Maidstone, Kent ME14 1LQ.
The games kicks off at 1:00pm, with the gates opening at 12 noon and the entry fee for adults is £3 and £2 for everyone else. If you have never been to the Gallagher Stadium then that alone will be worth the entry, plus there will also be many other attractions for the family to enjoy.
There will be a tom-bola, a raffle, burger stall, pie shop, an auction of sporting memorabilia and the bar will be open with the aim of raising as much money as possible for the Demelza House Charity and the home in Sittingbourne.
This club had supported Demelza House for many years until this season and therefore, we urge as many of you as possible to make the journey to this game as you supported our "Fan's Day" so well previously.
It is rumoured that Mark Irvine may well bring the gloves out of retirement and the rest of the Tesco.com side will be made up of employees and some Maidstone United players.
The Arsenal Charity & Celebrity squad will be made up of ex-professionals and celebrities but at this moment in time, no names can be confirmed.
Why not get yourself down to watch the game and support a worthwhile cause whilst watching some ex-professionals strut their stuff, you will not be disappointed.
