First team player becomes Treasurer.
The Club are pleased to announce that current first team player, Jack Funnell, has volunteered his services to become our new Treasurer, taking over from the outgoing Treasurer, Suzanne Dixon.
Despite his young age, Jack is very experienced in the financial world and holds a key senior position with an international financial company. He will bring a level of expertise to the role which will be of tremendous benefit to the Club as it moves forward after a few turbulent years, not helped by the Covid-19 pandemic.
He will be joining the Executive Committee and we all look forward to working with Jack so that we can move the club forward, not only for everyone involved with us now but for the generations to follow.
Suzanne, who has done a fantastic job as Treasurer during a very difficult period for all, will not be disappearing immediately as there will be a necessary hand-over period to enable Jack to get up to speed.
