The need for 3pts moves on to another stop.
It's second place versus fifth place in this fixture as the Crows host Croydon FC in a SCEFL Premier Division fixture. Both teams are coming off the back of wins on Saturday, the Trams beat Cray Valley PM at home 3-1, whilst we secured a 2-1 win against Erith Town FC at the Community Stadium.
The Trams are ten points behind us but have played thirty-three to get their fifty-two points whereas we have only played twenty-nine matches for our sixty-two points. Whilst we have a goal-difference of thirty-seven, they only have a goal-difference of five, which would suggest they either win a match or lose it, hardly ever drawing too many and their matches tend to be tight affairs with the odd goal being the difference for either a win or a defeat.
Our away game against the Trams back in early September 2017 ended in a 2-2 draw, Fotheringham put the home side 1-0 up in the 37th minute, Attwood made it 1-1 in the 49th minute before Chin put the Trams back in the lead a few minutes later on 52 minutes. The last goal of the game was scored by Turner for the Crows in the 62nd minute and whilst both sides had chances, there were no more goals for the 65 spectators to see.
The Trams have only had to travel to one away game in their last eight fixtures and that was when they played against Sevenoaks Town FC recently and lost 3-0, a match in which the Oaks did the league double over their visitors. With the other seven fixtures being at home, one was against Whitstable Town FC which saw the Trams lose 2-0, thus enabling the Oystermen to do the league double over them as well.
They have been to the Community Stadium already this season of course, losing 5-0 in a cup fixture however, tonight's match is likely to prove a much more competitive game and whilst the Crows would settle for the same result, the Trams will definitely be aiming to avenge that heavy defeat.
Admission for adults is £8, concessions £4, U16's are £1 - FREE if accompanied by a paying adult. A 20-page full-colour programme is £1 and the turnstiles open at 6:30pm, as does the Top Nosh Tea Bar and the Crow Arms inside the stadium.
We look forward to seeing you.
